July 1, 1979 – the joyride began in a small store in Iznart Street Iloilo City. F&E was selling tires and batteries to Ilonggos back then. Years after,F&E ventured into the distribution of different premium automotive & industrial products through its network of outlets in the region. With this expansion, service centres were also added and it became the most sought-after one-stop shop for automotive aftermarket care. Related to F&E’s main business, it eventually went into the importation of internationally-recognized products – Valvoline Oils & Chemicals, Tracross Tires and Nison Tires, to name a few – which F&E Automotive Division distributes in various parts of the country.
Few years ago, F&E also engaged in the distribution of HINO trucks and buses, a member of Japan’s Toyota Group, in the areas of Panay and Palawan under F&E Fleet Sales & Services Corporation – Hino Panay.
In its desire to provide other services to the Ilonggo market, the company also ventured into food and beverage franchisees. F&E now operate Max’s Restaurant franchise stores in SM City-Iloilo and SM City-Bacolod and is the sole distributor of San Miguel Beer and Magnolia products in the province of Antique. F&E even opened properties for lease near the Iloilo City’s business triangle, the Emmanuel Business Center & Eugenia Aracade along Diversion Road Iloilo City.
Recently F&E was appointed as the national importer and distributor of Sunshine automotive equipment for the entire Philippines. Sunshine is manufactured by Yantai Haide Science and Technology Co., Ltd., – the leading automotive equipment manufacturer in China. Acquiring Sunshine distribution further strengthens F&E’s capabilities to deliver state of the art after market care for passenger cars to trucks and buses.
Presently, the expansion in F&E’s location is very notable. Starting from Iloilo City, F&E can now be found in various locations in Capiz, Aklan, Antique, Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, Cebu, Palawan and the rest of the Philippines through its routing sales representatives.
More than the increasing revenues, expanding markets or increments in investor returns, it is F&E Group of Companies’ mission to “develop and nurture the human resource which is considered as the company’s greatest asset.” With them, it sees a future of expanding its base to serve the needs of the motoring public and the transport industry of the country. F&E is much excited to share more of the quality products and services that Filipino motorists will enjoy and it will keep on sharing unique, F&E brand of personal care – the Ilonggo way that is considered the best in customer service.
